You might know me as Brooke. I’m a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, someone’s soul mate and someone else’s kindred spirit, a writer, a reader, a singer, a designer of many things, and a dreamer. By day, I’m a book publicist for an independent publisher in North Carolina. I love a good book, graphic design, watercolor, green things growing, and my family (one amazing husband and one thirteen-year-old pug with the biggest personality you’ve ever seen).
I’ve been blogging about my wedding plans for a year, and now that we’re married, I figured I’d keep it going, this time about the newlywed life. All the other newlywed blogs I’ve come across are about babies or decorating or cooking…and I promise you, this is not one of those blogs (well, I may throw in a great recipe here or there). It’s an account of married life, where it takes us, and how we handle it. I’ll just keep you updated on our usual goings-on and what it’s like to start growing old with someone, with a few fun things thrown in.
